The students have spent the morning using GIS mapping technology to map the exploits of Alexander the Great's journey and battles in his conquest of the Persian Empire, using the Arrian's Alexander the Great text, translated by Martin Hammond.  They're now learning about the next stage of Alexander's life...including his time in Egypt.
